Magnolia Memoir Invites you to Join Us in Honoring California’s Fire Fighting Heroes March 22, 2017

The California Fire Foundation honoring and supporting Fallen Firefighters and their families will have their annual fundraising Gala at the Los Angeles Avalon Theatre Wednesday, March 22, 2017. After a year of epic natural disasters, and heroic measures to save California Communities – Please honor your California Professional Firefighters with a donation or by attending this star studded event with special guest Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (Producer: Transformers franchise, Granite Mountain, Deepwater Horizon).

  • Any donation, whether it’s $10, $25 or $100 will help us further our mission of serving firefighters, their families and our communities.

Magnolia Memoir is on  the California Fire Foundation’s Gala Host Committee to help raise funds for their critical work aiding families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect.  The California Fire Foundation is an amazing statewide nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.  We’ve pledged to help raise $1,000 for their upcoming Fourth Annual Uncommon Courage Gala on March 22, 2017 being held at the Avalon Hollywood, honoring Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Producer:  Transformers franchise,Granite Mountain, Deepwater Horizon) and Bernard J. Tyson (CEO, Kaiser Permanente).  Proceeds support vital statewide programs that honor our fallen heroes, offer scholarships to children of fallen firefighters, provide immediate aid to fire and disaster victims throughout California, distribute fire safety education in under-served communities and more.   Firefighters selflessly run into the face of unthinkable danger risking their lives, potentially leaving their families behind, to protect ours. Often, those brave men and women don’t make it back.  I hope you’ll help me meet my goal and forever ensure that we can take care of those on the frontlines and their families as well as those they shelter from disaster. Here’s how:

  • One table purchase of 10, or donation of $2500, could help provide one college scholarship to the child of a fallen firefighter helping him or her realize the dream of a higher education, through the Daniel A. Terry Scholarship Program.
  • One table purchase of 6, or donation of $1500, could help support family and friends of a fallen firefighter by commemorating their loved one at the only statewide California Firefighters Memorial Ceremony and on the only state California Firefighters Memorial Wall.
  • One ticket purchase, or donation of $250, could help provide close to three $100 gift cards to families displaced by fire or disaster so they can instantly get a meal or clothing in the first 24 hours after tragedy strikes, through the SAVE Program.
  • Any donation, whether it’s $10, $25 or $100 will help us further our mission of serving firefighters, their families and our communities.

I appreciate every ticket/table purchase or donation – as do our firefighters! Thank you so much for your support!
