After allowing time for lead singer, Mela Lee, to heal from her auto accident and broken back, Magnolia Memoir is happy to announce that we’ve returned to the studio and have a new album on the way – Steal the Stars – Recorded at Plyrz Studio owned by prolific Engineer and Producer, Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Stin, The Rolling Stones, Roge Daltry, Crowded House) The album is being mixed on a magnificent neve console in a vintage instrument paradise.

The album is mastered( thanks to Oasis and Gene Grimaldi) and set to print as soon as the ink on the album artwork is dry. We’ll be shooting a music video for the first single from the album -  “Afterlife” with Director Jason Gutierrez.

The music film for the first Single on the upcoming album is in it’s final stages of editing.  We had an inspired shoot in downtown los angeles and pulled some inspiration from some of our favorite films – Dom Hemingway, Atomic Blonde, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
